Terms of Service

By using Toilio you agree to these terms.
The service
Toilio shows community-reported information about public and customer-accessible toilets: locations, door codes, cleanliness ratings, and tips. This information is provided by users and may be wrong, stale, or incomplete. A code may have changed; a toilet may be closed. Use your judgment; Toilio provides no guarantee that any listed toilet is available, accessible, clean, or open.
Your contributions
When you add toilets, codes, ratings, or tips you grant Toilio a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to display and distribute them within the service, anonymously. You agree not to post:
- private residences or facilities not intended for public/customer use;
- personal information about anyone;
- spam, advertising, profanity, or harassment;
- codes or information you are not permitted to share.
Contributions are moderated automatically and by community flags; we may remove content or restrict accounts that abuse the service. Deliberately posting false information (for example fake codes) may result in your contributions being removed and your trust weight reduced.
Toilio Plus
Plus (ad-free, full tip archive, unlimited translations) can be earned free by contributing or purchased as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or annual, with prices shown in the app). Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. The annual plan includes a free trial; unused trial time is forfeited on purchase. Earned Plus time has no cash value.
Accounts
You may use Toilio anonymously. Signing in with Apple links your progress to that identity. You may delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is immediate and irreversible (see the Privacy Policy for what is deleted versus anonymized).
Liability
Toilio is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app or reliance on community-reported information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the app.
